Contact Lenses
Millions of Canadians have discovered good reasons for wearing contact lenses, sometimes to get away from the glasses look, fogging that occurs from temperature changes, perspiration, weather effects, or to avoid interfere with sports and other activities. Other reasons include, a more unobstructed field of vision (since there are no frames), and better vision as contact lenses move with the eye, eliminating distortion caused by looking through strong lenses from an indirect angle. All are great reasons, however not everyone achieves sharper vision with contact lenses.
If you are considering contact lenses, the starting point is a comprehensive eye examination by your optometrist.
Our Comprehensive Contact Lens Program

Our comprehensive contact lens program includes the following:

  • Vision assessment and custom contact lens fitting
  • Personalized instruction
  • Guaranteed success program
  • All contact lens assessments for one year

Following a comprehensive eye examination, first time lens wearers are counseled regarding available lens systems to determine which contact lens best fulfills their needs. Trial lenses are then inserted to ensure the lens fits, provides clear vision and is well tolerated. Teaching with written material, instructional videos and personalized coaching are provided to help individuals rapidly become comfortable with their contact lens use and care. Solution starter kits, including a contact lens case, are provided. Follow-up appointments to confirm lens tolerance and appropriate use and care are essential to the continued success in contact lens wear. All of these services are provided as part of the initial fitting fee.
Contact Lens Pricing
Contact lenses are provided at replacement cost plus a fitting fee, if applicable. Fitting fees apply to the fitting of any lens type new to the contact lens wearer.
Refitting Fee: For individuals familiar with contact lens use but require a new contact lens system, a one-time refitting fee covers selection and fitting of the new lens, as well as any required follow-up.
